1. Great welcome, Berangere organised our transfer from the airport and welcomed us and explained everything. We were in touch with her during the week too and she was very helpful and responsive. The flat is next to the central market – one of the tourist features of Valencia. So, it’s great for wandering into the old part of the city and discovering wonderful squares and old buildings. But it is noisy outside at night. There is a church next door that rings it’s bell at 8am. My husband slept through it, I used it as a useful alarm! The flat has everything we needed, modern appliances in good working order. Very comfy sofa. Good wifi. TV (but no English-speaking TV channels). The bed is comfy (it’s a standard double), there is no door to the bedroom but it’s in it’s own alcove. The shutters work well. Flat is bright and airy, but with good shutters for night. Location also great for shops, amenities, restaurants, buses etc.

3. We had a nice stay in Valencia, the appartement meets expectations and is exactly like the photos in the listing. The apartment is situated very centrally – next to the central market and near various squares with nice tapas places, so perfect to explore the old city centre. Due to this centrality, it can also be a bit noisy, but that’s easily fixed by packing some earplugs. Communication was very easy via (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). We were nicely welcomed in the apartment and got nice tips about what to visit in Valencia and neighbouring towns.

4. Apartment is exactly as pictured and very clean. Hosts are available and extremely helpful. There was nothing negative about our stay- we loved the apartment, it is in a wonderful location right next to the Santos Juanes church, just steps from the Central Market and Lonja. Internet connection is strong.

5. En general el piso nos ha gustado mucho. Su ubicación es genial, ya que está al lado del mercado central y podíamos hacer las compras allá mismo. Estás en mitad de la parte vieja de Valencia y el ambiente se palpa alrededor. Pero Valencia tampoco es muy grande y a pocos minutos andando tienes muchas cosas que ver. El piso es muy luminoso y su equipación es correcta aunque alguna cosa podría mejorarse con poco esfuerzo. Al ser un primer piso no tiene “vistas” pero como estás fuera de casa casi todo el rato no es algo negativo. Por otro lado por la noche sí que se oye bastante bullicio de la calle, sobre todo el fin de semana…gente que está de fiesta, etc y si vas con un niño pequeño como nosotros esto puede aguarte alguna noche. Por lo demás muy contentos de nuestra estancia. A ver cuando volvemos. Un saludo.

6. Location, best eating places are near this apartment, hop on-off bus stop near. Just like on photos. By the way taxi is so cheap in Valencia that using it makes holiday even more luxus…

7. This apartment is absolutely great! We have stayed in many apartments in Spain en this one is on top of our list! The service of the hosts is great, the apartment is very well equipped, there was even washing powder. It is located next to the market hall so every morning we went for fresh bread and other delicacies. Also one of the best Tapas places (Boa Tella) is around the corner. Only keep in mind that Friday and Saturday night it might be a bit noisy because of people chatting away in the little square below the apartment (bring earplugs for the weekend). I highly recommend a stay here.

8. The apartment was in a perfect location, close to the central market and other tourist locations, as well as bars and restaurants. The apartment was small but had everything that was required for our stay. Lounge area very comfortable and lovely big windows/balconies throughout the apartment. Valencia is absolutely beautiful, and well worth a visit. I would consider staying in this apartment again next time I visit. The apartment is really great! It is very cosy, clean and located in the heart of Valencia. Our hosts Omar and Berangere were very helpful and the communication with them was perfect. I would definitely stay there again!

9. Un precioso apartamento en una ciudad fantástica. Ubicado en el centro de Valencia, cerca de la plaza de abastos. El estudio es muy luminoso, acogedor y funcional. No se puede pensar en un punto negativo. El primer día de un problema con el aire acondicionado, pero Berangere ha resuelto de inmediato. Super!

10. Klein, sauber, zentrale Lage, sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber und (GOTTSEIDANK!) mit Klimaanlage!

11. Tuve una gran estancia con mi hija en el appartement. Estaba situado en el centro de la antigua ciudad! La próxima vez que se quedará en Valencia voy a reservar este appartement nuevo. Realmente puedo recomendar una estancia con Berangere y su equipo. Realmente hacen todo lo posible para que sea una gran estancia para usted!

12. wonderful loft apartment is a brilliant description. Clean comfortable every thing you need. Amazing location really close to the centre literally walking distance for everything. Berangere was a fantastic host, right from booking she gave us lots of information about Valencia and even organised our lift to and from the airport, so well organised, helpful and friendly. Hired bikes from a place recommended by Berangere which meant we received a discount. Good bikes and very helpful people. All in all it was a really lovely break, we had a brilliant time, thank you so much Berangere .

13. Preis-/Leistung ist hervorragend; Die Wohnung ist sehr hell/sauber und mit Allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Speziell hervorheben möchte ich das Bett -> Die Matratze war nicht zu weich und nicht zu hart – wir haben sehr gut geschlafen 🙂 Danke an Berangere. Div. Infoaustausch per Mail + Terminvereinbarung hat alles super geklappt. Weiters bekamen wir ein kurzes “Briefing” über Valencia (inkl. Karte) mit Restaurants, Sehenswürdigkeiten etc. Fazit: gerne wieder 🙂

14. Een heerlijk appartement in een fantastische stad. Mooie centrale ligging dichtbij de markthal. De studio heeft veel lichtinval, is gezellig en praktisch ingericht. Kan geen negatief puntje bedenken. De eerste dag een probleem met de airco, maar Berangere heeft dit direct opgelost. Super!

15. Berangere took quite some time to explain the neighbourhood and good spots in the city (next to an email with tips sent earlier) so we could make the most out of our stay. The apartment itself is great: enough space, well furnished and dead-center location. Berangere was very flexible with the check-out: as guests would only be arriving late and we had an evening flight out, it was ok to use the apartment until the end of the day which allowed us to have a nice Valencia day without having to carry our stuff around. The only thing you might want to note is that you might hear some of the street noise (esp on weekends).

17. “Waarom zou je in een hotel gaan zitten als je voor dit geld in een penthouse kan verblijven ;-)? Hartelijke ontvangst door Emilio die allemaal leuke tips over de stad heeft gegeven. De ligging is geweldig: naast de centrale markt (40 meter lopen), ideaal voor ons. Alle toeristische attracties in het centrum op loopafstand en een station voor Valenbisi om de hoek (Tip: dit zijn publieke fietsen, neem een abonnement voor een week. Kost 13 euro en eerste half uur fietsen is gratis). De inrichting van het appartement is comfortabel, met een lekkere bank en een wasmachine een vaatwasser. De badkamer is klein maar de douche is lekker.”
    – Er is weinig negatiefs te melden. Het slaapgedeelte is vrij klein, daarom is het bed klein. Misschien minder prettig voor lange mensen. En er staat een mooi oud kerkje op 10 meter afstand, waarvan alle weekdagen de klok beiert om 7.39 uur (??) en een kwartier later weer. Een goede wekker!

18. Vriendelijke eigenaar, comfortabele, schone en complete appartement, midden in het centrum van Valencia. Precies zoals geadverteerd is. De buurt is gezellig, jammer dat het ‘s nachts luidruchtig is. Oordoppen zijn geen luxe. Aanrader.

19. Our host Emilio was very friendly and helpful. Apartment is wonderful, fully equiped and in great location! We strongly reccomend this place for staying in Valencia!

20. This is a very complete apartment in the old center of Valencia! When we arrived at the apartment we were welcomed by a friend of Bérangère (because she was with family in France), named Pablo, who is very friendly and speaks English very well. He told us everything about the apartment and the city. Everything was clean and worked well; the airco, wi-fi, tv etc. The location is very nice. You can do about everything by foot. And you can take a tourist bus (from a square also not too far from the apartment) or public transport to the things that are too far to walk, such as the beach or the Bio Park Zoo. There are lots of nice restaurants on walking distance, such as Mon and La Pappardella. I discourage to buy a pizza slice at Nam Nam, it’s cheap, it’s gross and I think it got me a little sick that day. And fortunately for us all the road work (see Heike’s review) is finished. So we had a nice, quiet stay. Maybe the parrots could have been a little more quiet (: On the last day we met Bérangère, she was also very kind. And on time, which was important because we had to catch our flight back to the Netherlands! So.. If you want to go to Valencia and you need a good place to stay.. I highly recommend this apartment!

21. L’appartement est très bien situé à côté du Mercado central, et du centre ville. Personnel accueillant, nous transmettant les meilleures adresse. Possibilité de parcourir le centre à pied très facilement. Nous sommes très satisfait de notre séjour.

22. If you’re looking for a new and clean apartment perfectly located nearby the old city centre and the central market, this is the place to be! If you’re very bound to your sleep however, this apartment isn’t the best choice. During the night and early morning it was very noisy outside and the church bells were way too overwhelming. The host was very nice and gave us lots of tips during the check-in, but he forget to be in time for the check-out, which was a bit odd since we agreed a time in advance and we obviously had to catch a plane. By the way, don’t be surprised if you receive a lease contract in Spanish before your departure. Just ask for a translation, to make sure you know where you’ll sign for.

23. Had a great stay in this studio! Its bright, spacious and the location is perfect. All facilities were there incl airco. Emilio welcomed us at the studio and gave us all the info we needed to get around. Our check-out time was flexible, our flight was at 16hrs and we left the apt around 13.30, very relaxed!

24. “Amazing stay in the heart of the city!” We recently visited Valencia for a weeks holiday and having found this apartment online decided to book it instead of a hotel because of the great price and location. We were greeted upon arrival and were given a tour of the apartment and a map along with some recommendations of where to visit including attractions, historical monuments, buildings and also restaurants. The apartment was clean and filed with all the advertised amenities. Over all our stay in Valencia was brilliant and will not be forgot any-time soon. The apartment was in the heart of the city 10 meters from the central market and 10 minutes from the main plaza’s of the city. The local knowledge provided upon arrival was in dispensable throughout our visit and enabled us to make the most of our relatively short visit. Highly recommend over any hotel in the city and would undoubtedly stay there again if we were ever to return to Valencia.

25. “Brilliant apartment, central location” This apartment was the perfect base for a weeks holiday to the city.
    It is fully equipped with everything you would need. We were met by the very friendly Emilio, who invited us into the property and gave us valuable advice, with perfect English about the hotspots of Valencia.
    Before we arrived, i didn’t quite realise how central the apartment was, it is virtually next door to the central market and a 10 minute walk to the city park.
    I would recommend this rental to anybody, it was just about perfect for me and my boyfriend!
    Other recommendations would be Picnic and Bike for quality cheap bike rentals, which is just a 2 minute walk from the apartment. We found that renting bikes gave us the opportunity to get around much more of the city than we would otherwise, and to get to the Bioparc (a must!!!), science park and beach much more easily than tackling the bus!
    All in all 10 out of 10

26. NL: We hadden een perfect verblijf in het appartement van Berangere! Emilio stond ons op te wachten voor het appartement en gaf een rondleiding in het appartement en vertelde ons de do’s en don’ts. De pro’s: – Perfecte ligging (mercado central) – Ruim en proper appartement – Goede voorzieningen (lift, airco, internet…) Het enige wat voor vernieuwing vatbaar is, is de stofzuiger 😉 Maar het is zeker aan te raden als je een rustig, maar centraal gelegen appartement zoekt! EN: just do it!

27. Het appartement zag er knus uit. Het was schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Wij werden hartelijk ontvangen door Emililjo die ons een rondleiding gaf. Vertelde over alle hotsspots in Valencia en overhandigde ons een plattegrond vd stad. Het appartement ligt zeer centraal in Del Carmen en je kunt vrijwel alles te voet bezichtigen. Wij komen zeker terug.

28. Check in was easy and went smooth. The apartment is clean and bright which I liked. It is centrally located, close to all bars and restaurants. The bed was also good altough a bit small – not for me – for my boyfriend. We walked everything or used Valenbisi (bike) Valencia is no Amsterdam yet in respect of cycle lanes and not all motorists are used to cyclists, but it is getting there. I would stay here again!

29. Berangere is a perfect host. She replied really quick and was there to meet us at the right time. The studio is very clean and with high standard furniture. The studio is very well located in the historical centre. The bed is 140 cm, a bit small but it’s a comfortable boxspring. The only downside of the central location is the noise at night mostly on Saturday. I would certainly recommend the place but not to light sleepers.

30. Reception by Berangere was good and communicating with her went smooth. The studio is indeed very centrally located, is clean and tidy. The only point for improvement is the size of the bed. I guess it has a width of about 140 cm and that is simply too small for a lot of people, especially from Northern Europe.

32. “Мне понравилось все!! Невероятно милые и любезные люди!! Стильные комфортные просторные с идеальным месторасположением апартаменты!! Красивейшее здание центрального рынка по соседству (через одно здание), так приятно с утра туда наведаться за вкуснейшими продуктами!! Апартаменты в очень тихом переулочке, но в двух шагах жизнь кипит, в том числе и ночная. Много супермаркетов, велопрокатов, кафе. Спасибо огромное владельцам! Сидела в интернете 2 недели, озадаченная выбором, попала в 10!!”

33. The studio is confortable and nice, Berangere was realy nice and let us know some places of her preference so we can explore the city. The comunication was realy good and the apartment is provided with everything you must have for a short stay. There are some lovely green birds on the surrondings that expect for the singing were realy nice!

34. De inrichting en de ligging, heel compleet en fantastisch centraal gelegen, ontvangst en behulpzaamheid “gastvrouw” heel prettig. Aanwezigheid van lift en veilig appartement. Wifi werkte uitstekend. Alle apparatuur van hoogwaardige kwaliteit. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding uitstekend.

35. A great apartement in the very centre of Valencia, next to the beautiful market, but still in a very quiet spot. No traffic noise! We greatly recommend this place for two persons. Berangere was very nice and helpful and thanks to her we visited a few special places where otherwise we would not have come. She also arranges cheap and good bikes.

36. We had a great stay in this very modern and clean appartment. The location is perfect in the middle of the city centre. The busses to the beach are very close. Plenty of restaurants in the neighbourhood. Berangere was really helpfull. She arranged maps and other tourist information, including her own favourite restaurants. Her english was very good, and communication was very clear!

37. Berangere was a wonderful host. We appreciated her excellent customer service from the start to finish of our stay. She provided us with lots of useful information, friendly advise, and even transport!

38. The apartment is top! Located in the city centre but not in one of the main tourist walk ways, it is ideal for exploring Valencia by foot. Every morning, we went to the central market hall, which is only 200m away, to get things for breakfast and enjoyed a relaxed morning meal in the light flooded apt. All around are large windows (which you can close with shutters) which let in a lot of light. The apartment is newly furnished with everything you will need, including cooking supplies, cleaning stuff and even laundry detergent. It is equipped with a washing machine, a dish washer, huge fridge with freezer, TV, WLAN router with free internet, air condition (which you will love in summer) … Everything is quality stuff and not cheap or used. You will feel at home. We can definitely recommend Berangere and this particular apartment. And have a close look at the chuch right outside your window! A pair of green parrots have their nest in the facade.
